Steven K. Herrine, MD is Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Professor of Medicine at Sidney Kimmel Medical College and Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Herrine completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and his fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Thomas Jefferson University.

In additional to his clinical pursuits, Dr. Herrine spent his career investigating treatments for chronic viral hepatitis as well as forging an educational role in the medical school and hospital. As Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Undergraduate Medical Education, Dr. Herrine oversees the design, implementation and monitoring of the curriculum at the medical college. As career-long member of the AASLD, Dr. Herrine has served as Chair of the Training and Membership/Mentorship Committees.
