LEAVE A LEGACY IN THE FIGHT AGAINST LIVER DISEASE

As a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, AASLD Foundation relies on generous benefactors to help support researchers and fuel the pipeline of liver disease professionals. 100% of gifts received go directly into creating opportunities that expand liver research, furthers education, and impacts patient care for generations to come.

Planned giving represents your legacy and allows you to safeguard the people and causes that matter most to you, today and in the future. With so many giving options, our Foundation team is here to guide you through the process, ensuring your giving aligns with your priorities and desire to leave a lasting imprint.

READY TO MAKE A BEQUEST?

The easiest (and most common) way to support liver research is through a bequest in your estate plans. Just a few sentences in your will or trust are all that is needed. Share the sample language below with your estate planning attorney to identify AASLD Foundation as the beneficiary.

  • Sample Bequest Language

"I give, devise and bequeath to American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) Foundation (Tax ID# 46-4495751):

a. the sum of __________ dollars ($_____ ) or b. _____ percent ( %) of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate to be used for its unrestricted purpose."

Please note: This information is not intended as tax or legal advice. We recommend that you consult with your legal and/or financial advisors to learn how a gift may work for your circumstances.
