Kimberly Brown, MD, FAASLD, FAST, AGAF is Division Chief of Gastroenterology and Hepatology and the Associate Medical Director of the Henry Ford Hospital Transplant Institute at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. She is Professor of Medicine at Wayne State University. After completing medical school at Wayne State University, Dr Brown went on to complete both Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship at the University of Michigan. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

Dr. Brown has served as Medical Director of Liver Transplantation and Fellowship Director for GI and Hepatology at Henry Ford Hospital. She currently serves on the UNOS Liver and Intestine Board and the Hospital and Health Network Board of HFH.

Dr. Brown’s clinical focus is in hepatology and liver transplantation. She has a particular interest in viral hepatitis and treatment of hepatitis in patients undergoing transplant.
