Tamar H. Taddei, MD, FAASLD, currently serves as Professor of Medicine (Digestive Diseases) and Vice Chief of Faculty Development (Digestive Diseases) at Yale School of Medicine and Chief of Gastroenterology at the Veterans Affairs Connecticut Health Care System. Dr. Taddei received her undergraduate, medical, and clinical medicine training at Georgetown University. She obtained fellowship training in gastroenterology and hepatology at Yale University. She is a board-certified gastroenterologist with a certificate of added qualification in transplant hepatology.

Dr. Taddei’s clinical interests focus on developing systems and programs to deliver outstanding multidisciplinary care to people with liver disease and liver cancer. Her research focuses on improving outcomes in these populations through observational studies and multicenter clinical trials.
